I stole this idea from a friend on Facebook...hers were much cuter though! But, Piper and Claire painted these pots at our house last week as you saw in an earlier post and this is the finished product! Potted basil plants!
ha! ya, don't do it the hard way!! they have cilantro and tons of other herbs...at least they did up here! tyler's nurseries probably have a better selection than ardmore's!

HOW did you get your basil like that?!
i bought it at walmart in a little black square thing and then just potted it. i didn't do anyhing!!
Wow. I'm a goof. I'm about to start my 3rd attempt at growing basil from seed....I'll go ahead and scratch that and make a trip to Walmart!
